Effective February 26, 2025, Bruce County Transportation & Environmental Services Department placed weight/load restrictions of 5 tonne per axle on several County roads until further notice.

Bruce County staff have implemented road weight/load restrictions to protect the integrity of road infrastructure. During spring thaw, roads are susceptible to damage and the reduction of axle-weights helps preserve the life span of Bruce County roads.
