Beginning on Family Day, February 15th until February 21st, post your challenge attempts on social media using #2021BCMCCFamilyDayChallenges and the best attempts will win prizes!

This year, Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is bringing the world a little closer to Bruce County with a virtual show featuring Guinness World Record holder Silvio Sabba live from Italy!  The fun-filled day at home will feature challenges that families can try at home to win prizes.

After achieving his first Guinness World Record in 2011 for the most single leg squats in one-minute, Italian personal trainer Silvio Sabba decided being the best at just one thing was not enough. After almost eight years of dedication, he currently has 228 unbeaten world records to his name (having collected more than 640) becoming the first in Italy and in the world to have this record.

Sabba has received several mentions in the Guinness Book of World Records and has participated in numerous television broadcasts both nationally and internationally. His records range from fun records that can be attempted at home like the most pairs of underpants pulled on in one minute, or the number of dice stacked using Chinese chopsticks, to the more strenuous and athletic records such as the most jump squats in one minute, the highest standing jump on one leg, and the most squats on a balance board carrying a 100 lb. pack in one minute.

Guinness World Record holder, Silvio Sabba, also holds the record for stacking match sticks and he is not the only member of the Sabba family to be crowned Officially Amazing™ as both his wife Julijana and 10-year-old son Cristian also hold Guinness World Records titles.

Learn tips and tricks to beating world records from Silvio Sabba by purchasing a $15 virtual family ticket and support the Bruce County Museum.  Tickets are now on sale at https://www.brucemuseum.ca/  for $15 and the show starts at 10 AM on Monday, February 15, 2021.
