In spite of snow squalls and blustery winds, the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton opened its doors for fun activities on Family Day, February 17th (2025).
More than 50 people of all ages turned out to enjoy the fun-filled activities, hot chocolate and delicious pizza provided by Saugeen Shores Rotary Club.
The day included three virtual presentations by storm chaser and photographer David T. Chapman, a reading about the Monarch butterfly by storyteller, Dorothy Ladd, a scavenger hunt and a chance to make birdseed ornaments for feathered friends who remain in Bruce County over the winter.
