It’s here! The long weekend that starts August off and Foodland in Southampton is revving up for its annual LOBSTER FEST!
New owner, Martino Catalano, is carrying on the tradition of the August long weekend with entertainment by Al Crawford and, of course … LOBSTER!
The store is taking pre-orders until Friday with very limited late orders that day. Customers can take their lobsters home or have Foodland cook them on Saturday between 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The long weekend celebration continues on Sunday (Aug.4) between 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. when there will be Maple Leaf BBQ hot dogs and drinks by donation. “ALL donations will go to the local Marine Heritage Society,” says Foodland owner Martino Capalano.
