The Gran Fondo committee is seeking enthusiastic individuals to help elevate the 2025 Gran Fondo Lake Huron to even higher heights!
Whether new to the event, a returning rider or volunteer, or an excited community member eager to get involved, your insights and experiences will be invaluable. The committee welcomes seasoned cyclists, recreational riders, past participants, and anyone with skills in event planning and fundraising to join them in crafting an unforgettable experience for everyone!
The committee goal is to enhance the event by gathering feedback and introducing new ideas for the routes, post-ride picnic and awards ceremony. “We need your fresh perspectives and passion to elevate this event!” says organizer Jenny Scongack.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Organized, detail-oriented individuals
✅ People with experience in fundraising, networking and event planning
✅ Open to all suggestions and discussions
✅ Experienced riders, recreational cyclists, past participants, corporate/sponsored participants
✅ Past event volunteers
✅ Enthusiastic, team-oriented mindset
The commitment is only one-house monthly meetings via Zoom, although the first meeting may be somewhat longer to align everyone.

The deadline to apply is October 20th and successful applicants will be contacted by October 28th.
