Royal Canadian Legion week begins September 17th in recognition of those Canadian veterans who served in several wars, including WWI, WWII, the Korean War (and the Boer War).
On Sunday, September 10th at 2:00 p.m., local Southampton historian, Bill Streeter, will present a power point presentation at Southampton Legion Branch 155 on the life stories of 10 soldiers, whose names are on the Southampton Cenotaph, and four veterans from Saugeen First Nation who died in WWII.
