Huron Shores Hospice is continuing their efforts to address the ‘elephant in the room’ around death and dying.
One way they are doing this is through hosting informal ‘Death Cafes’ in local communities. A ‘Death Cafe’ is a free open forum and is open to everyone who would like to share, learn and listen to others’ experiences around death and dying.
While Huron Shores Hospice located at Tiverton Manor in Tiverton offers grief counselling, the ‘Death Cafes’ are not counselling sessions
The next ‘Death Cafe’ will be held January 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Port Elgin Public Library.
