Friday’s vaccination immunization drive-through and drop-in clinic at Port Elgin’s Plex and Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) proved to be a popular idea.
Hundreds of vehicles began lining up early in the morning waiting for the clinic to open at 10:00 a.m. There were so many vehicles that three lanes for registration and vaccination had to be set up to accommodate the numbers.
Inside the NII, the indoor drop-in clinic results were the same as people lined up for vaccinations.
