A fatal accident occurred today, June 14th, when a vendor employee with Kinectrics died while disassembling a large piece of equipment at the Kinectrics Facility at the Bruce Energy Centre.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m.
“We are devastated by the death of this individual,” said President and CEO David Harris. “Our thoughts are with his family. We place the highest value on protecting the safety of our employees and contractors and we are heartbroken for the worker’s family, friends, and colleagues.”
Kinectrics and the vendor have stopped work at the KI North facility in Tiverton in recognition of this sad event.
