Making Eco-Adventurer Day Camp easier to access

Two dental clinics in Port Elgin have collaborated along with Bruce Power and Port Elgin Home Hardware Building Centre to ensure that young people have the opportunity to take part in the Eco-Adventurer Day Camp at the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre (OEC) by sponsoring busing for the period of July 15th to 19th.  The bus will leave Lakeshore Recreation at 8:25 am and return at 4:30 pm for the week of July 15-19 only with a nominal fee of $5 each way thanks to the recent donation of support.

Upon registration, participants will receive a full information package of what to bring, including ‘litter-free’ lunches.

The day-camp will also be running again July 22nd to 26th.  Daily programming from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.will give participants the chance to explore nature, learn leadership and team skills, create crafts, take part in drama … and more.

Space is limited and parents or guardians are encouraged to enroll as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
