Marine Heritage Festival – Day one of three – the Launch

Despite some challenges thrown by Mother Nature over the weekend, the 9th Annual Marine Heritage Festival in Southampton was a resounding success. Over the three days, there were many events and this is the first in the three-part series of the weekend.

The Festival began on Friday, July 26th, with the official Launch at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre. (Part I in the Series of III)

With a BBQ, boat painting and live entertainment, there was something for every age. People gathered on the front lawn of the Museum for the kick-off BBQ hosted by the Marine Heritage Society and then moved to the patio behind the Museum for the official opening.
