Plans for the Marine Heritage Fun, Family, Free Festival in Southampton are underway as it returns to in-person after a long hiatus due to COVID.
Captain Wayne Sparrow and part of his crew were on board when Ontario Power Generation (OPG) presented a helping hand donation on Monday, June 6th.
The donation will help with the Fun in the Park (Pioneer Park), where a number of groups and organizations are planning displays and special family activities on Saturday, July 23rd.
“This has really become a community supported and sponsored fun weekend!” says Deb Kaufman, Co-chair of the Festival Committee.
