Sirens were blaring and horns were honking through the streets of Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) as the town honoured its Ontario Provincial Champion ball teams – the Sting Girls U11 and the Sting Boys U9.
The parade that began at the Port Elgn Fire Station wound its way to the PLEX where Mayor Luke Charbonneau and Vice-deputy Mayor Mike Myatt met the teams in the NII (temporary Chambers) and presented the players with individual certificates of recognition.
