At the recent August 13th funding announcement by Minister Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre, Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau also made a funding announcement.
He first thanked the Ministers saying that the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is a “…hallmark institution for Southampton and Saugeen Shores. It’s very special to us and your investment means a great deal.”
He then went on to say, “We just learned today that Saugeen Shores has also been awarded an injection of some $500,000 in funding from the Provincial and Federal Governments to support the municipal response to COVID-19, along with other communities in the region.”
