Mr. Cruiser celebrates 25 years of FUNdraising for local hospital needs

For ‘Downtown Gary Brown’ (a.k.a. Mr. Cruiser), 2019 is a quarter of century of fundraising for the local hospital in Southampton on the shore of Lake Huron.

For 25 years, he has hosted Thursday Cruise Nights through the summer months raising money for local hospital equipment needs that are not government funded.  On Thursday, July 25th, a special presentation by car owners of a trophy and signed card were presented to Mr. Cruiser

Up to and including 2018, Cruise Nights has raised over $270,000 through minimal car entry fees and 50/50 ticket draws that have been run by hospital volunteers.

 

 

On Thursday, July 25th, celebrating 25 years, there was cake for everyone.
