Museum March Break – what living like an astronaut means

March Break excitement continued at Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre when (Doctor) John Hlynialuk, President of the Bruce Astronomical Society, took the capacity audience in the Bruce Power theatre through the cosmos and into the steps of the astronauts.

He explained in vivid detail the living conditions that the astronauts encounter while living in space … from the essentials of everyday life that include brushing their teeth to being able to go to the bathroom.

His explanation included a young audience member who had the opportunity to simulate being an astronaut dressing in a space suit.

The excitement continues today at the Museum, Friday March 17th, when it’s wild bird time in the theatre and learning about the incredible birds that call Ontario home.
