New Director joins Bruce County senior leadership team

Bruce County is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Morphy as the new Director of Workplace Engagement Services, effective April 25, 2022.

As a member of the County’s Senior Leadership Team, Morphy will administer collective agreement negotiations, policy and procedure development and implementation, employee relations, and will help the County coordinate pandemic reopening and recovery measures.

Under his leadership, the Workplace Engagement Services team will continue to oversee several aspects, including: Recruitment, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resources Information Systems, Payroll, Compensation & Employee Benefits and Staff Training & Development.

Morphy is a dynamic and experienced Human Resources leader with a demonstrated history of managing in complex unionized environments in both the private and public sectors, and has over fifteen years of management, labour relations, organizational development, talent acquisition, and health and safety experience. He has been the Manager of Human Resources for the Municipality of Meaford since 2020 and holds a Masters of Business Administration and the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation.
