Although the Dynacare collection centre has been operating since May, it officially opened its newest location at the Rexall drugstore on Goderich Street in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) on Friday, June 14th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Dynacare is a Canadian health and wellness solutions provider, with a history dating back more than 50 years. It serves more than 11 million Canadians every year with commitment and care through 170 Laboratory and Health Services Centres, eight laboratories and 11 offices across Canada.
The Laboratory and Health Services Centre provides access to an extensive list of over 1,500 tests from blood and urine collection as well as glucose tolerance testing. Many of the test results are electronically delivered to health-care providers in real-time and can also be accessed by clients for a nominal fee.
The Centre also provides non-invasive prenatal testing through the Harmony technology system.
Services are currently offered by appointment by booking at Dynacare.ca/Find-a-Location. For many routine tests however, no appointment is needed.
