Elgin Lodge is thrilled to announce the appointment of two dynamic leaders to our team. Christine Welden has joined as the new Executive Director, and Ann-Marie Collins has taken on the role of Marketing & Sales Director. Both began their roles in July and bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the community.
Christine Welden, with her extensive background in senior living management in the Bruce-Grey area, is excited to lead Elgin Lodge into a new era of excellence. “I am honored to join such a vibrant community,” said Christine. “I have enjoyed getting to know the residents and staff and look forward to working together to enhance the quality of life at Elgin Lodge.”
Ann-Marie Collins, with her extensive experience in marketing and community relations, is eager to connect with the Port Elgin community and share the unique offerings of Elgin Lodge. “This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the exceptional living experience we provide,” Ann-Marie stated. “I am committed to ensuring that Elgin Lodge is recognized as a great place for seniors to start a new chapter in their lives.”
Together, Christine and Ann-Marie aim to build strong relationships, starting with the residents, their families, the staff and then the broader community. Their leadership marks an exciting time for Elgin Lodge as they strive to create an environment where every resident feels at home and valued.
Community engagement started Sunday, September 8th when Elgin Lodge was proud to participate in the Walk for Parkinson’s at North Shore Park in Port Elgin. The Young & the Breathless, the Elgin Lodge team, raised over $1,500. More than any other team at the event!
