Offshore Bakery in Southampton is known for its delicious homestyle baked goods and Southampton Rotary Club, under organizer Rotarian Neil Reid, wanted to share the delectable baking with the residents of Southampton Care Centre and at the same time supporting the Bakery.
“We are trying to support our small businesses,” said Reid, “while helping to make those in long-term care feel better. So, we thought that if we, Rotary, could purchase the Bakery’s delicious baked goods, it would be a win-win for everyone.”
“This is wonderful,” said Andrea Prentice, Resident & Family Services & Volunteer Co-ordinator at the Care Centre. “I know how much the residents and staff will enjoy these.”
