There is only a week to go for the Gran Fondo 2021 virtual FUNdraiser for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
On August 4th, the update indicated that the fundraiser is only $6,200 away from meeting its goal of $100,000.
Also, as of August 4th, the leaderboard showed that individual leaders to date were Steve Finch ($2,328.29), Niomi Laferriere ($2,020.24) and Nancy Czarny ($1,521.57). Corporate leaders are: Best Choice Haircutters ($10,711.14), Le Tour de Friends 2021 ($5,930.78) and Team Southampton Foodland ($5,709.05).
Funds raised will go toward new ECG machines for the local hospital and for improved patient care.
