How does it work you ask?
Kids from 3 to 13 can sign up to ride the 1km loop (roads are closed to vehicle traffic) starting and ending at the Plex Parking lot.
Along the route are several activity stops hosted by local businesses such as RBC, the Town of Saugeen Shores, Saugeen Shores Police Service, Bruce County Public Library, Lakeshore Recreation Banquet & Fitness Facility Port Elgin, modernfarmhouse and Nuclear Innovation Institute.
The kids will enjoy fun activities and take-aways and every rider gets a back-pack as part of their registration so they can collect all kinds of cool stuff from the stops along the way.
Afterward, the Port Elgin and District Lions Club will be serving up a BBQ lunch for the kids.
Parents are encouraged to walk or ride along side their kids if they like and extra lunch tickets are available to purchase at registration.
Those who choose to fundraise will be entered into the prize draws.
