OPP Update – Arran-Elderslie Search Warrant results in drugs, vehicles and firearms seized – 5th person arrested

A fifth person has been arrested and charged in relation to a search warrant previously executed at an address on Concession 4 in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

 Members of the South Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 25-year-old from Arran-Elderslie under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following offences:

  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition – two counts
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – five counts
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
  • Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order – four counts

This individual was also charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

The arrest follows the previous execution of a warrant on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in the municipality of Arran-Elderslie. which resulted in the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, a firearm and ammunition, multiple vehicles, and offence-related property including phones and construction equipment.
