Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario is excited to announce an incredible milestone for this year’s Walk for PD, raising an impressive $506,977 to support individuals impacted by Parkinson’s disease across the region. This remarkable achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of our sponsors, nearly 200 volunteers, and over 1,800 participants, all committed to creating a brighter future for the Parkinson’s community in Southwestern Ontario.
On September 7th and 8th, participants from 14 locations across Southwestern Ontario came together to walk in support of Parkinson’s disease, raising both funds and awareness. Families and friends enjoyed a day filled with fun activities, entertainment, and refreshments while making meaningful contributions. Every dollar raised stays local, helping to fund essential programs and services, as well as research, education, and advocacy efforts that support over 10,000 people living with Parkinson’s in the region.
