Arran-Elderslie Pool Passes available to borrow at Bruce County Public Library

Bruce County Public Library is excited to announce its new partnership with the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie to provide free seasonal passes to local swimming pools in Tara and Chesley. This initiative’s goal is to promote equal access to community recreation and encourages healthy lifestyles.
Included in this exciting partnership is:
  • Ten passes for the Tara and Chesley pools.
  • These passes can be checked out for one week on an adult card, and can be renewed once if there are no holds
  • Each pass has a QR code printed on the case linking to the municipality website, where patrons can review pool admission standards before visiting.
Mayor Steve Hammell expressed his support for the initiative, stating: “It’s important to us that families across Arran-Elderslie have opportunities to cool off and enjoy quality time together. Offering easy-to-access passes through the library helps ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the Chesley and Tara pools this summer.”
Pool passes are available now at the Paisley Branch and can be reserved through the Library’s online catalogue. To see what other unique items you can borrow with your BCPL card, visit the Library of Things on the new Library website.
