Port Elgin Beachers’ Organization strives to maintain and enhance the beaches within its area that include Gobles Grove and beyond along the Lake Huron shoreline.
The group, made up of both year-round and summer residents, has completed many improvements that include the Gobles Grove parkette, often working in collaboration with the Town of Saugeen Shores staff.
“We can all agree Saugeen Shore’s beaches are natural treasures anchoring tourism, our number one industry,” says Beachers President Greg Schmalz. “The Beachers’ core mandate is beach environmentalism.”
