It was an exciting week for local elementary students as Rotary and Bearama visited local schools to launch the 2024 Winterama at school assemblies.
On Monday January 22nd, they visited five area schools, Amabel-Sauble Community School, Hepworth Central Public School, Arran-Tara Elementary School, St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Saugeen District Senior School (SDSS).
Then, on Tuesday, January 23rd, Rotary launched the event at G. C. Huston Public School (Southampton), Northport Public School and Port Elgin Saugeen Central School (Port Elgin).
At each school assembly, it was a chance for the students to learn through a Rotary video how to participate in the upcoming Winterama fundraiser for their schools.
