Saugeen District Senior School (SDAA) swim team did very well at the annual OFSAA Championships held in Windsor this week.
Luna Abbott achieved a personal best in her 200m freestyle swim and Sielo Naranjo-Vargas had a personal best in her 50m butterfly.
The girls 400m freestyle relay team of Angela Williams, Cassie Richardson, Jie-Lynn Barrett, and Luna Abbott finished 10th overall.
The boys 400m freestyle relay team of William Eagleson, Kelvin Gottschalk, Hayden Kaake, and Owen Richardson finished 25th overall.
Overall, the Royals team had a great swim season and they especially thank Jeff Horseman, Mr. Jacobi, Mr. Alexander, Miss Tesic and many parents for making this season so successful.
