The big guy in the sleigh was waited for anxiously, especially by little ones, for one of his planned stops in Southampton on Friday, December 6th, before his big night coming upon on Christmas Eve.

Mother Nature also arrived bringing with her snow squalls but it didn’t deter the crowd who came out to see Santa and his parade.

The parade was led by the Southampton Legion Branch 155 Colour Guard followed by grand-Marshal Southampton Grande Dame Jane Kramer.

Southampton Rotary was also out in celebration of the upcoming ‘Coldest Night of the Year’ event that is to be held for the first time in Southampton (Saugeen Shores) in conjunction with the United Way Bruce Grey.
