It was a cold wind on Friday, December 6th, but that didn’t deter the hundreds of people who came out for the annual Santa Parade held this year in Southampton … and to give little people a chance to get a glimpse of Santa before the big day.
Everyone was excited to see Santa …
age doesn’t matter.
Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and led by the Southampton Legion colour guard, the parade included approximately 50 floats, bands, firetrucks and marchers. Many hundreds of people lined High Street enjoying the parade but waiting for the main attraction … Santa.
There were also several organizations that traveled from other communities to attend the parade, including the Sauble Beach Cross Country Ski Club and the Kincardine Community Band.
