Saugeen First Nation honoured their own who served in all wars

Saugeen First Nation honoured their own who served in the Great War that ended on November 11th, 1918 and all those who served afterwards.

Their names line the Cenotaph at Saugeen First Nation, a reminder of the important role that they played in serving through the many wars in which Canada has been involved.

From World War I to World War II, the Korean War to Somalia, they have served not only with Canada’s Armed Forces but many also served with the United States Marines and Army.
