Tracy Murray, Executive Director of Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, will now be wearing two hats as she assumes the role of Chief of Philanthropy for Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS).
“This is an exciting time of growth and innovation for GBHS with the new mental health and addictions facility that will open later this year and the development of the new research institute,” says Murray.
Murray joined the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) on October 29, 2018 as Executive Director. “I love my job! How many people are lucky enough to be able to say that? I get the opportunity every day to meet new people, develop creative ideas and build partnerships with businesses and individuals that have such a positive impact on peoples lives through the delivery of exceptional local healthcare.” She adds that she now has the opportunity to broaden the scope of her work as she takes on her new role as Chief of Philanthropy. “I am truly looking forward to expanding on the work we already do by building personalized, positive corporate partnerships and major giving opportunities across the Grey and Bruce Regions that will grow the development, reach and impact of fundraising for all six GBHS hospitals, mental health and research. I will however, still be remaining in in my current role as well.”
