On October 15th 2025 The Chief’s Commendation award was presented to Constable Travis Wagner, Constable Noah Ross and Constable Morgan Hamilton.
The commendations were in recognition of their extraordinary courage and swift action on June 8th, 2025, when they provided life-saving assistance to a person in distress who had entered the waters of Lake Huron.
Their decisive intervention assisted in saving a life and exemplifies the highest standards of bravery, compassion, and public service.
“Their heroic actions reflect great credit upon each of them and serve as an inspiration to all,” said Chief Kevin Zettel.
