On August 26th, Dave Ceksters, Vice President of the Society of United Professionals (Bruce Power Local) visited PRANCE to make a donation of $5,000 on behalf of his membership to help PRANCE purchase much-needed new equipment for the therapy horses.
Ceksters toured the facility and met some of the equine team and learned more about PRANCE’s work including both therapeutic riding and mental health support programs.
Rob Stanley (Former Executive Vice President Finance for the Society of United Professionals and PRANCE Board member) and Lori Kohl (PRANCE Board of Directors Vice President) joined Ceksters and Ann Marie Johnston (PRANCE Executive Director) for a photograph with therapy horse Babe.
PRANCE is a registered charity that has operated in the community since 1993 and relies on support from corporate sponsors to keep the barn doors open.
“We are very grateful for the support of the Society of United Professionals and together we will work to help children and adults with disabilities through the power of horses!” said Johnston.
