Thursday, October 3rd (2024), was a big day for Southampton couple, Allan and Nancy Murray.
Sixty years ago, 1964, in the seaside town of Skelmorlie, Scotland, this handsome couple, Allan and Nancy pledged a lifetime of love to one another.
“That love has sustained them for six decades, from a transatlantic move to a new home in Canada, to the arrival of three wonderful children and 12 amazing grandchildren and great grandchildren. Their entire family – including Molly, their beloved wee dog – is very proud of them for this remarkable achievement!” says daughter Louise Murray-Leung.

Today, the couple remains active in their Southampton community. Allan continues to ride his bicycle and, once again this year (2024), road in the Gran Fondo fundraiser cycling event for the local Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, winning a prize for being the ‘most mature’ rider of the day.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
