When Martino Catalano, owner of Southampton Foodland, could not find enough people to cover shifts for cart antiseptic cleaning, he called on Southampton Rotary Club.
Members quickly answered the call and Catalano offered to contribute the hourly wages that would have been paid to employees to the Rotary Club for its community projects.
The ‘helping hand’ project was organized by Rotarian Cathy Janveau.
