Southampton’s first Live Music & Food Festival is coming

After two years of pandemic restrictions, Southampton is about to come alive with music and great food in all its venues on what will be a fun musical weekend.

From the sound of the big bands to bluegrass, jazz to blues and rock, R&B to pop and rock, there will be a music taste for everyone.

The Live Music & Food Festival will make an entrance on June 24th & 25th.

Well-known musician, Charlie Bell, who in the past organized the popular Canadian Big Band weekend, is bringing live music back, including the Canadian Big Band, Bobby Dean Blackburn, Tyler Yarema, Don Buchanan, Mary-Catherine Pazzano and many more artists.

The music begins at 1:00 p.m. Friday (24th) at the Smoky Cactus and Dizzybird Cafe and then bands continue through the dinner hours into the evening at each of the restaurants in Southampton’s downtown core … enjoy one or take in two or three over the weekend.

At Southampton’s Town Hall theatre on Friday night (June 24th) Tyler Yarema will perform while at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre  Mary-Catherine Pazzano will be performing with her jazz style.

Then, on Saturday (June 25th), the musical treats continue in the afternoon and wind up in the evening with the Canadian Big Band at the Town hall and the Paul Nathan Country Band at the Bruce County Museum.

This is a return to live music and great food at Southampton’s first
Live Music & Food Festival.
