The organizing committee for the 2022 Rotary Huron Shore Run wish to shout out a huge “THANK YOU” to all of the participants, donors, sponsors and 80 + volunteers who made the 2022 Rotary Huron Shore Run such a huge success 0n June 4th.
Once again you have shown how much you care about keeping healthcare close to home while at the same time engaging in a fun community event. There were so many smiles and good vibes on a bright and sunny day, some of which have been shared on our Facebook page.
Over 550 walkers and runners raised well over $50,000 for the “Bring Tom to Town” campaign. We are still totalling up donations and expenses and will be making a cheque presentation to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation in the very near future.
Over 20 sponsors helped to pay for our expenses. A special thank you to Barry’s Construction, our Premier Sponsor, who donated $25,000 to our event and all of the other sponsors whether they donated $1000 or $100. The staff of the Town of Saugeen Shores and our local media including the Saugeen Times and the Bruce were, as usual, very accommodating as well.
We look forward to seeing you again on June 3, 2023.
