Thanks to unseasonably warm temperatures, Special Olympians from around southwestern Ontario were able to enjoy their annual Track and Field day a the Davidson Centre in Kincardine on Saturday, September 15th.
The Mississauga Stallions, Barry Trackers, Cenral Bruce (Port Elgin), South Saugeen (Walkerton & Hanover), Collingwood, Owen Sound and Kincardine all competed in a wide variety of events.
From ‘javelin’ throwing to racing, standing broad jump to ball throwing, the athletes demonstrated their skills.
