The 42nd Port Elgin Superspiel has taken on an international flavour.
This year’s event has a team from South Korea, American teams from Michigan and Colorado and a team representing Portugal ( Toronto based).
The 16-team event also has several of Ontario’s top teams who are ranked in the World’s top 50.
Play began on Friday morning and continues until the final at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
After the first day of play, four teams are at two wins and no losses. (King, Beuk, Mulino and Fanset) and four teams are at two wins and one loss (Ferris, Rooney, Rettinger and Regier).
This is an opportunity to watch some great curling and spectators are definitely welcome to this admission-free event.
