Survey – Town wants input on Port Elgin Main Beach proposal

Survey to gather feedback on proposed features and amenities at the Main Beach

The Town of Saugeen Shores is seeking feedback from the public on the Port Elgin Main Beach area, in particular the enhancements proposed by local business owner Pier Donnini at the Town Council meeting on July 22, 2019.

Feedback will help the municipality and the proponent move forward in achieving the goals put forth by the Waterfront Master Plan and the recent Request for Proposals. An online survey is available for interested residents and visitors, and hard copies are available at the Town Office (600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin).

The public can access the survey here until August 6, 2019:  https://www.saugeenshores.ca/Port-Elgin-Beach-Enhancement-Survey/

“We are excited about the potential for this public/private sector partnership to further enhance the Port Elgin Main Beach as a family-focused waterfront destination for residents and visitors,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
