Are you looking for a way to beat the winter blahs? Join the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre starting tomorrow February 12th for its annual program entitled “Adventure Talks” to hear inspiring adventure travel stories, accompanied by electrifying photography, from around the world.
The five-part series features guest speakers who will highlight their experiences of travelling to some of the world’s most amazing places.
The series kicks off tomorrow, February 12th, when Christy Eaglesham shares her journey of hiking the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
On February 26th, be captivated by the beautiful photos of Ian Evans skiing from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole, and later cycling across Australia.
On March 11th, John Swatridge will bring his favourite travel experiences through Asia, followed by the tales of Amy Muschik’s adventure in Jordan on March 25th.
The final speaker, photographer Jennifer O’Reilly, on April 8th, will showcase a pot-pourri of photographs from far-flung locales that have taken her breath away.
The Adventure Talks series is proudly presented by Hampton Court Retirement Lodge.
