Bruce County and the Town of Saugeen Shores are working together on the reconstruction of Bruce Road 25 (CAW/Unifor road) west of Highway 21.
In a Report of Facts, the County says that the finished product will be a new road surface with a better transition into Saugeen Beach Road, a 3-metre wide multi-use trail leading to the beach, and appropriately-sized storm sewers to collect and distribute rainwater.
The report also answers many questions that people have been asking about the project such as:
- Will waste water or sewage constantly be
pouring from the outlet? - Will stormwater ever reach the beach?
- Will water make it to the
Shipley watercourse?
