Summer is here and, one of the highlights that residents and visitors look forward to is the Southampton Foodland Lobster Fest.
This year, marks 25 years for the annual Lobster Fest when, on every Civic Day long weekend in August, fresh lobster is flown in from Nova Scotia.
Last year, and in previous years, some 800 lobsters have been brought in. Customers can take their lobsters home or, wait while they are prepared/cooked on-site by Foodland staff. While waiting, customers are able to sit back, relax and enjoy live music or shop in-store for the perfect lobster complements.
