TIFF Films coming to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre

This month, the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre proudly presents the first of four films in its special 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) series, aimed at bringing the best of international cinema to Bruce County.

The series kicks off in celebration of Pride Month on June 20 at 6:00 PM with a screening of the award-winning movie Solo, a Canadian romantic drama directed by Sophie Dupuis that follows the life of a young emerging Montreal drag queen.

Following the film, a special Pride Month Equality Panel discussion will take place with special guest Director Andrew Moir and local community groups who will delve into conversation on the significance and protection of Queer art. This event is proudly presented by Bruce Power.

This event is free to attend. Must be 19+. A cash bar will be available. Due to limited seating, registration is encouraged. Registration can be found online at www.brucemuseum.ca.

Additional films in the BCM&CC’s TIFF Film series will be announced later this summer.
