The Town of Saugeen Shores congratulates Linda White as she accepts the position of Clerk for the County of Bruce.
Linda began her career over 30 years ago with the Township of Saugeen prior to amalgamation. In her current role as the Clerk for the Town of Saugeen Shores, Linda has guided Council and staff with her insightful knowledge of legislation and procedures.
“I would like to say thank you to the mayor, to council and to municipal staff”, said White. “It has been my great honour to serve the residents of Saugeen Shores. I have seen a tremendous amount of change in my time as Clerk, and I look forward to bringing my experience with the Town to the County level.”
“Linda has been an invaluable member of the team at Saugeen Shores throughout her decades of service,” says Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “I am tremendously proud to be able to say that I worked with her at the Town, and I am looking forward to continuing that relationship in my role as a Bruce County Councillor. Everyone at the Town of Saugeen Shores wishes Linda all the best.”
Linda will work with both the Town and the County on a transition schedule into her new role.
