One of the highlights of the Port Elgin Legion hall is the opportunity to dance on an original finely-finished wooden floor. For anyone who has experienced dancing on a ‘sprung wooden’ dance floor understands and appreciates how a floor can make a difference.
The weekly Port Elgin Dance Club has enjoyed the chance to dance on the floor for some 33 years.
In return, the members of the dance organization recently presented a $500 donation in appreciation to the Legion on September 3, 2024.
