In celebration of International Women’s Day, The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce is hosting a virtual event on Monday, March 8. In addition to yoga and networking opportunities, the event will feature Keynote Speaker, Ashleigh Weeden, who will discuss the effects that the pandemic has had on rural women. Executive Director, Heather Sheldrick, will provide an overview of The Women’s Centre’s programs, and event guests will be able to bid on exciting auction items from local supporters.

Marked annually on March 8, International Women’s Day is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements and rally for women’s equality.
