The Thomas home is located on beautiful Pegasus Trails close to Lake Huron. This two-storey home was built by the owners in 2018 and boasts high ceilings, large windows, a chef’s kitchen, large master suite, in-ground pool, movie theatre and a full basement bar. Their home is designed to be unique and a true entertainment home.
Doug Thomas grew up in Port Elgin and many may still remember his father’s store “Doug’s?” or “Saugeen Trails”. Eager to move back to the area, Pegasus Trails had a country living feeling, while being very close to town and ideal for he and wife, Jennifer, to raise two young boys.
Jennifer is the decorator of this home and she did not want a typical cookie cutter style. Her style is modern farmhouse and the home is very inviting and welcoming.
The Thomas family is looking forward to having everyoone for the annual Tour of Homes this year!

The Christmas Tour of Homes will be held on Friday, November 15th from 6:00pm – 9:30pm and Saturday, November 16th from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Tickets are only $30 and can be purchased starting October 11th at Accents in Port Elgin or L & Co. in Southampton. A limited number of tickets will be available for each day so purchase early to avoid disappointment.
There will be no tickets available for purchase at the homes.
The proceeds of the tour will be shared between the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation and the “Just Add Water” campaign for Saugeen Shores new Aquatic & Wellness Centre.
