Joan Lein Passed away peacefully at her residence in (East York) Toronto, on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the age of 77.
Survived by her brother Douglas W. (Kathy) Lein, nephew Matt, and niece Sarah (Matt) and their daughters Aria and Sofia. Will also be missed by her cousins Phillip and Lucy-Anne and friend Deb Murray. Fondly remembered by many second cousins, extended family and close friends.
Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Agnes (Maybin) Lein.
Joan was born and raised in Toronto and was a faithful member of Riverdale Presbyterian Church. She worked as an executive secretary for the Royal Bank for most of her life. She was a dedicated Aunt, and had a loving and generous heart, and will be missed.
All are welcome to attend a graveside service for Joan at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in Elmira Union Cemetery, Elmira.
